The CAA published its Covid 19 Guidelines for the Children’s Activities Sector in June. Since its publication there has been updated guidance released from the Government that relates to our sector, so for this reason, we have updated our Guidelines document which you can download on the link below (if you have previously registered you will receive the updated Guidelines via email).

We wish to thank ClassBiz (www.clazzbiz.net) for kindly funding any costs of the project and also the incredible work from our team of volunteer industry experts who contributed their time to put these guidelines together.

Led by Dr Amand Gummer - Good Play Guide

Fiona Simpson - Art Venturers

Chris Irwin – EdStart

Tamsin Brewis - Water Babies

Andrew Alleway - Tidy Green Clean

Claire O'Connor – babyballet

Team Mental Health

These guidelines are prepared in line with government and public health guidelines as of 14 July 2020. The CAA will release further updates to the guidelines when more information is available.

Continued Lobbying by the CAA

Despite all the effort that has gone into lobbying, which is starting to make a difference to the guidelines, there are still many areas relating to our sector which the current Government guidance does not cover. We will continue in our efforts to lobby Government until every provider in the sector has clarity on how they can safely reopen and operate.
